We are well under way in the gathering of information for our final project, the Sophisticated Budget. Remember that according to our textbook, budgets get more sophisticated (complicated) with time. Last semester our focus was surviving the next 5 years.
The sophisticated budget should address your situation that you plan to be in starting summer 2019. It doesn't need to necessarily be that specific date but we are looking at your plans for adulthood. This should include much more since we have spent so much time analyzing car buying, insurance, mortgages and savings. Below are the criteria by which you will be graded. Note that if you do not present, the best score that you can get is an 80%. So be ready to present on your assigned day. Presentations will be completed using Prezi (free online software). You will post a link to your prezi on my page so that there is no need to bring in a flash drive or anything of such.
In the coming week I will be posting examples of what is expected as well as procedures for completing your project. Remember, this activity is designed for you to show what you have learned this year in Math Technology. It's called Portfolio Assessment so make sure that it is professional and of the very high quality that I know you are all capable of.
